A Natural Paradise
The rugged scenery of the Corbières and Fenouillèdes is a paradise for nature lovers. An excellent network of trails leads through a landscape of intriguing contrasts and diversity: hills covered with fragrant herbs and evergreen shrubs, dramatic gorges carved into sheer rock faces, lofty forests, meandering vineyards and picturesque villages, where time seems to stand still. The fascinating landscape can be explored by foot, mountain bike or on horseback.
The higher mountains of the Pyrenees, which offer great skiing during the winter and excellent hiking in summer, as well as the beaches along the Mediterranean coast can all be reached within an hour from Villa des Pins.
